From the desk of: Tim Schmidt
Chemnitz, October 2026
We asked over 3,000 customers what they look for when buying wall art.
The most common answer was quality, closely followed by price. The problem: you can't touch quality on the internet. You see a photo, but you don't know how the canvas will look on your wall.
That's why we're turning it around.
You get your first dotcomcanvas for €9.95. That's less than what the picture costs us to produce. We are essentially taking a loss on every order in the hope of convincing you of our quality so that you'll shop with us again. Because we know what happens once someone has a dotcomcanvas on their wall for the first time: 63% of our customers had no concerns before buying, and many order a second, larger picture afterward.
That is exactly what the €50 voucher for your next order of €100 or more is for. If you like your introductory print, you can pick up your favorite design in a larger format for a better price.
