Refund policy

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal subject to the following conditions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within thirty days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is thirty days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (DOTCOMCANVAS, Palmstraße 17, 09130 Chemnitz, Germany, E-Mail: service@dotcomcanvas.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, excluding the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event not later than thirty days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than thirty days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of thirty days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. The direct cost of returning goods that, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by post (freight forwarding goods) is estimated at a maximum of approximately 50 EUR for each such item.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiration of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and the production of which is governed by an individual choice of or decision by the consumer, or which are clearly tailored to personal needs of the consumer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who do not belong to a member state of the European Union at the time of the conclusion of the contract and whose sole residence and delivery address are located outside the European Union at the time of the conclusion of the contract.

General information

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer possess the original packaging, please provide suitable packaging for adequate protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight forward.
3) Please note that the above items 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
4) Whenever possible, please register your return in advance with our customer service and use the return address provided to you at that time. This helps us to allocate and process your return as quickly as possible.
